The letter א

The letter א

This week, we were excited to start learning our Hebrew letters.
The first letter is א Alef. 
These are the names of the children in our classroom that begin with the letter א:    

אהרון Aaron

אלנית Illiana

 Morah showed us a special box called the "Mystery box" that she explained would have a special object inside that starts with the letter of the week. 

Matthew came up and helped Morah feel what's in the box and pull it out. 

 The word "אבטיח" Avatiach (Watermelon), begins with the letter א. 

 We formed the letter א with Popsicle sticks.

We then glued our א on the paper
