This week we reviewed everything we learned about fall.
We continued learning about apples that fall from the trees. Morah Rivky cut open an apple so we can look at the seeds inside and Morah leah taught us the special bracha(blessing) we make when we eat an apple. The special Bracha is the blessing that we say thank you to hashem for giving us the special fruit that grow on the trees.We all said the bracha and enjoyed eating a piece of an apple.
We Looked at our different shaped leaves and noticed that some had points and some looked like an oval shape.
We looked at a circle and an oval and noticed the way it looks different. An oval is like a stretched circle it has some long parts and some short parts. Its not completely round like a circle.
We looked around the classroom and found something that was a circle and something that was an oval. We matched it to its shape.
After our fall trip We gathered all the leaves we collected and made leave collages.
Morah leah showed us all the leaves we collected. She reviewed with us the shape oval and found oval shaped leaves. We then sorted our leaves by shape some were oval and some were pointy. They were lots of different colors.
Just like leaves can come in different shapes and sizes so can people.
We started learning about our new unit ALL ABOUT Me.
We first noticed how we are all different. Some of us are boys and some of us are girls.
Morah Rivky showed us that boys wear kippah's and girls wear bows.
We all got a turn to choose if we are a girl and wear a bow or if we are a boy and wear a kippah.Some of the boys and girls found it very funny to switch.
Morah Rivky showed us a special board where we had to put a kippah for a boy and a bow for a girl. Everyone got a turn to put a kippah as a boy or a bow as a girl.
We counted that there are 7 girls(bows) and 6 boys (kippahs) in our class.
Now that we know that some of us our boys and some of us our girls. We learned the shape heart for Love. No matter what we are we all love each other and ourselves.

All our friends love each other and when we love someone we can give them a hug
We decorated our hearts with different colored heart stickers.
Morah Rivky even gave everyone a heart sticker because just like we love each other so do our Morahs love us.
