Color RED and the Shape CIRCLE

This Week we learned and reviewed the color RED.

Everyone got a turn to close their eyes and take an object out of a bag to see if it was RED. Then, they were able to put it on the RED dot or in the RED box.

We found a red Crayon in the bag
Michelle found a Red ball in the bag
Matthew put a Red apple in the Red box

Noya found a Red scarf

Then Some children got a turn to look around the classroom and find something RED.

Shira found a Red paint brush
Ben was wearing RED pants

Illana was wearing a RED shirt and found RED Elmo

Morah Leah starting teaching us about the holiday of Rosh Hashana. Where we dip the apple in the honey for a sweet new year. So we looked at the different colors of apples and saw that apples can be RED too.

We wanted to make RED Apples so... We watched as Morah Rivky showed us how to use a paintbrush to dip in water, put it on our paper, and use tissue paper to cover the whole apple to make it RED.

Then we got a turn to make our own RED apples.

This week we also learned and reviewed the shape circle.

We looked at different objects around the classroom that are the shape "Circle".

We combined the color RED and the shape Circle to make a RED CIRCLE art project.
We got to use a lot of different red materials to make a red collage on our circle.
