Literacy Month

 Literacy Month

Books are very special to us. This month we have been talking about keeping our books nice and neat. We spoke about looking at the different pictures and trying to find the letters we know in the books. 

During this Special Literacy Month we had many family members come to read to us. 

Nir's Mommy came to read us a book about Airplanes.

We got see a map where the airplanes in the book fly to. We also got to touch and feel different toy airplanes from the book.

 Morah Rivky and the Nursery friends invited her grandmother to come and read us a book. She read us a book about shopping in a grocery store. It was perfect because we were learning all about our community helper the Grocer.

Chaim Tal's Mommy read us a book about Curious George and Pizza. Chaim Tal has a Curious George doll and brought it in to share with us. His mommy also brought in a toy pizza that we got to play with in our kitchen center.

Illiana's dad came to read us a book about the dentist. Illiana had fun telling her papa everything we learned about the Dentist. 

 Shira's mommy read us a book about  little boy who does a Mitzvah and tells his mommy the truth.

 Dori's Mommy read us a book about Pete the Cat. She also gave us the book to keep in our classroom so we can read it during the day.

 Daniella's mommy read us a book about the story of Purim. We were very excited since the special holiday was coming up. 

Michael's mommy read us a book about Pete the Cat. It was very special since it was at it his birthday.
