We are reviewing our letters and for the Letter A Morah brought in a huge Alligator. We had fun jumping on top of him and holding him.
During Centers our Nursery friends have started to build some very big and creative structures.
We really enjoy playing in the sand table is fun to use the cars and shovels inside it
.
In the Dramatic play area are nursery friends are having fun role playing the different community helpers we learned about. They also really enjoy using our fire truck.
On Friday's we have a great time with Morah Rivky Music. She lets us use instruments and plays the piano. Sometimes we even get to use a parachute.
In our month of community helpers we learned about a dentist. Dori's Daddy is a dentist so we invited him to come to school to talk to us and show us all that he does.
He explained to us the importance of brushing our teeth. He even brought in an alligator with real teeth that we helped to brush.
He gave us special tooth brushes and different teeth things that we can use at home. We loved it.
Just this past week friday we had special visitors in our classroom. The Pre-Nursery classes came to play. Morah taught us that the Pre-Nursery class is just two years old and dont really know how to play like us big children. She explained to us that we have to help them and teach them how to play in our classroom.
We learned how important it is to be helpful to our younger friends
They had a great time playing and learning from us and we did too!
