Spring

This Week we started talking about the New Season in the Year "SPRING"

We learned a Spring Song....

 The Days of Spring are here,

Warm Sunny days are near,

Flowers and bees, and birds and tree's

The days of SPRING are here.

We said "Goodbye" to Winter and "Hello" to Spring. 

We looked at our Winter picture and a Spring picture and spoke about the differences. 

 We looked at Sammy our weather boy and noticed he was all dressed for the Winter. We worked together to change his clothes into a short sleeve shirt, shorts, a baseball cap, and sneakers.

 We noticed that in the Spring the Grass is green. Morah showed us green paper and we worked together to cut straight strips to make green grass. Then we took our strips and stuck it on contact paper to add to our spring bulletin board.

Morah added Green Grass and insects to our Sensory table.  

 

In the Spring time the flowers start to Bloom. 

Morah showed us a short video clip of flowers blooming in the Spring. 

 Morah let us choose from different kinds of flowers and we crumpled tissue paper up and glued it on to make them bloom.

 In the Spring time the weather is Sunny and Warm. We had lots of fun playing outside and using chalk to color on the floor.

 In the Spring we can see/hear the birds chirping, the bees buzzing, and the butterflies flying.

 Morah showed us different colored paper with birds, bees, and butterflies on it. She let us choose which one we wanted and showed us how to glue on different colored feathers to make them beautiful.
