Our Community:Baker and Pizza Maker

We learned that a Pizza Maker and Baker help us in our community by providing us yummy food to eat. 

We learned that the Pizza Maker and Bakers wears. He wears a hat, an apron, and gloves when he uses the Oven.

We learned the different steps of how to make Pizza. 

First we make the dough

Then we add the red pizza sauce

We sprinkle on the cheese

We put it in the oven by using our gloves (only with a grown ups help)

Morah demonstrated all the steps on how to make Pizza.

We learned about the register where we pay to get and eat our pizza from the Pizza Maker.

We worked together to make our very own Mini Pizzas to go on our pizza store.

We had our circle dough, we colored on the red sauce, and glued on pretend pieces of cheese.

We had fun pretending we were fire fighters, bakers, and pizza makers in the Dramatic play center

Since we have been learning so much about Bakers. We decided to make our very own Bakery. 

First we worked together with Morah to bake cupcakes for our Bakery. 

We worked hard making our Baker hats and Welcome to our Bakery Sign.

 We were all ready for our Bakery so we invited our Pre-Nursery 1 (Morah Frumie's) class and Pre-Nursery 2 (Morah Perel's) class to come to our Bakery.

We said "Welcome to Our Bakery"

 We gave each of the Pre-Nursery kids a chocolate cupcake and they gave us a high five to pay us instead of money.

We sang them a song... Who are the people in our Neighborhood, in our Neighborhood, In our Neighborhood, Yes Who are the people in our Neighborhood. It's the people that You meet each day. A Baker is a person in our Neighborhood...

 We also had the Nursery class come to our Bakery. We took their hand and showed them to their seat. We served them Cup Cakes and let them Enjoy eating them.

 Then it was our turn to have our Cupcakes sicne we worked so hard serving others. It was very Yummy in our Tummy.

Our Pizza Shop Trip

We went on a trip to the Pizza Shop on Kings Highway. There we met the Pizza Baker and became Pizza Bakers ourselves. We worked together making our very own pizza. 

First we washed our hands and spread out the Pizza dough

We added the Red Pizza Sauce

We sprinkled on the Cheese

We took our Pizza to the Oven

 Then we had to wait... While we waited we took some pictures, looked at the huge fish tank, made Silly faces in the big mirror, and Morah's used some money to give us a turn to ride the Seal in the store.

 Finally the Pizza was ready and we ate it all up
